James Gray MP welcoming representatives of 20th Armoured Brigade to Parliament
Wednesday 21st February 2007 “I was delighted - and not a little relieved - to learn last night that North Wiltshire District Council have struck a deal in the nick of time to keep our six leisure centres open. I only hope they will not renege on this latest very welcome commitment,” said James Gray MP.“It has been an anxious time for the many hundreds of my constituents who use these facilities, made all the worse by the dodging and back-tracking on the part of the Council. And so I am proud that their protest last night - and campaigning efforts over the past four months - have finally secured a future for all six centres.”
